DAY 8 (AM) TUESDAY 12th AUGUST 2025

I’ve woken up pumped for today off the back of a good day yesterday. However I need to remind myself that today is going to be equally as hard, or maybe harder given I used quite a bit of energy today.

One of my principles is to walk towards mental and physical discomfort, not away from it. I also need to keep reminding myself that I can act in spite of how I feel, and generally whenever I do that, I get rewarded.

There have been two recent events where I’ve acted in spite of how I feel, and have got rewards:

  • On Sunday we had jobs to do around the house and I was extremely tired from a lack of sleep the night prior. I really didn’t want to do the chores but just broke it down into the most simple task and just keep moving forward with a good attitude despite how I felt
  • Yesterday during my 6 hour work period, there were three times when I went to the depths of feeling average but each time I didn’t give in to feelings of hunger, temptation to find distraction etc, and just kept going. I felt unbelievable each time

I don’t know what difficult situations will come up today but I know I can act in spite of how I feel. Hard times also teach me good lessons, and build character.

If I can make enough peoples lives better, then they will eventually help me. As long as I maintain my main focus of trying to make peoples lives better, I will continue moving in the right direction.

I have virtually no work and my runway for cash is running out. Therefore I need to keep serving people like crazy and keep connecting. I haven’t been consistent with my LinkedIn posting and need to get back to getting a daily post loaded.

Sometimes I run out of things to write, but then of course I have because I haven’t been doing my 1,000 words each day for LinkedIn which I was trying to do. I want to do one month straight of LinkedIn posting from today until the 12th of September, and then after that I want to increase it to 2x per day to really set the wheels in motion.

I’m ready to get after today with some key targets:

  • 6 hours straight again from 6.30am-12.30pm – I need to get above 8 hours today to improve my average before the back end of the week
  • Another day with under 2,500 calories as yesterday I got back on track
  • 1x LinkedIn post but do my 1,000 words
  • 15 minutes on business finances
  • 15 minutes on personal finances
  • Deliver the first 200 flyers if they turn up today
