I’ve woken up tired today after a big weekend. The title of this says day 7 but I haven’t stuck to anything which means it should be day 7 but I’m sick of starting again so I’m just going to keep going.
My goals that I set were around input of work hours, calorie deficit, emails in inbox, and LinkedIn posts. Here’s how I performed:
- Calorie Deficit Tues-Sun: Average of 541 per day (2 big deficits, 2 days in caloric surplus)
- Work Hours: Average of 4.58 (only 3 worked during weekend). Missed opportunities throughout the week
- Inbox: Wasn’t really cleared out all week
- LinkedIn: Posted Tue, Wed and Thur – Missed opportunities Friday-Sunday
Based on that, it’s clear I need to improve my thoughts and actions so I’m excited to take control of that this week. I have 6 days left of 75 hard, and I want to get the most out of them.
I would love to have an average calorie deficit of 1,500 calories per day, and work at least 8 hours per day to bump up that average. I’m also going to start recording all of my time every day so I have a better grasp of where it’s going. I also need to start taking better control of my finances and have a cash flow situation drawn up but I’m putting it off because it’s painful.
Today will not be easy but I’m pumped for the opportunity to work hard today. Here are some targets for this week:
- Average 8 hours of work each day (at least 56 in total). I won’t be working much Sunday so these need to be front-loaded this week by having some massive days
- Average deficit of 1,500 per day for the last 6 days to finish 75 hard strong
- Clear inbox every day and have a maximum of 5 emails each day when I log off
- At least 1 LinkedIn post every day
- 15 minutes business finances
- 15 minutes personal finances
I get the opportunity to work hard today and to keep training myself that I can feel tired and average, but still choose to push hard, work hard, and serve other people. First up is a big gym session where I must push myself to work as hard as I possibly can. After that I come home and get set for a massive undistracted work day.
There are some great challenges in front of me today and I’m excited for them! Let’s get the week moving.
