I’m writing this at 11.30am this morning as the morning got away on me a little bit with waking up at 4am, and needing to leave 4.30am for gym. Having an ice bath after the gym, then not getting home until about 7am. I then showered, had breakfast, put some washing on, so started a bit late.
I’m committed to making this week different and making it impactful so it’s important that I don’t let a slower morning turn into a slow week and instead I’m going to take some massive action. I have an appointment at 3.20pm and need to leave around 2.50pm, however there is a heap of stuff I can get through before then.
I keep asking myself why this keeps happening where I don’t just sit down and get into work and I think some of it is because I don’t know what to do, and I think quite negatively about work. I don’t think about the positive impact I can make in peoples lives or the growth that can happen for myself if I stick to this. That is what I need to remember.
At the moment I don’t really have a plan for how I’m going to reach my revenue goals and therefore I just log on and work for a bit out of grit. This isn’t very sustainable though.
My revenue goal in September is $20k revenue and I need to figure out some actions that will get me to this goal.
If we do $20k revenue in September as a circuit breaker to help me get this machine moving, and then aim to grow 10% every month, then I will do $2.6m turnover in the 2028 financial year. This will be 2.5 years to put all of my past mistakes to bed. I am willing to go all in to achieve this.
Where does this work come from?
- Maximise the value to be delivered from existing work – find the most value we can give them and bill them accordingly
- Get their reviews
- Get their referrals
- Website/SEO
- LinkedIn
- Posting everyday
- Connecting with people every day (connecting and dm’ing)
- Google Ads
- Cold Outbound emails (I could do 10 of these per day and just be consistent that I’m always trying to increase value)
- Maintaining contact with network so I remain fresh in their mind
- Developing resources to help more people
Maybe my strategy each day needs to be:
- Clear emails (automate -> delegate -> put in calendar)
- Clear all compliance work (automate -> delegate -> execute)
- Work on Marketing
- LinkedIn
- Posts
- Connecting
- Website blogs – making website more useful
- Cold Outbound emails
- Following up bark leads
- Maintaining contact with network
- Developing resources
