I can turn this around but I have to make changes. This isn’t forever but it is for now.
So far I’ve done about 19 productive hours, but then looking through my timesheets and I’ve wasted 10 hours, then there’s some other time between the other categories I could’ve pinched. I’ve added up 18 other hours I could’ve used for work to get me to 37 hours in the first 4 days. This is where I want to be.
I let my mood dictate my work ethic and when I’m not feeling like working I give in to distracted websites, googling distracted topics, or going to snack on some food which I don’t need and sets my business goals back.
But the beauty about life is that we always have the opportunity to turn things around and I for sure have that opportunity in front of me. I need to get back to making better decisions, and acting in spite of how I feel.
There’s 161 days left in this pursuit of becoming a liquid millionaire and it’s absolutely possible. There is things I can learn which I can package up and sell in this time to make this money. But the other possibility is that I muck around and get to this point of time and look back and I’m completely dejected about wasting more time.
Distractions are going to kill my hopes of my business and therefore I need to be ruthless at cutting them out. I need to remove distractions by making good decisions, and get back to reviewing my days and making changes.
There is so much potential in front of me but I’m not going to meet it if I keep giving in to distractions. Maybe every hour on the hour for the next 161 days, I log in and identify which distractions have arisen or may arise – then name them e.g. phone, watch, eating, distracted websites.
I know this business can work, and I’ll get it humming through brute force over the next 161 days. This is going to work and I’m going to put in the reps to make it work. My actions will be of someone who is determined to make this business work despite whatever cost I need to pay to make it work. I will turn this around. Next week will be incredible and I’ll hit all my targets next week.
We can create our own momentum at any time by taking action on the habits we know we need to do to reach our goals.
