DAY 1: MONDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER 2025

I am really running out of time to get the business going. My cash runway doesn’t have long left and I need to start earning money shortly, especially with the huge debt repayments I have starting shortly.

Over the next few weeks, my debt repayments are going to be about $900 per week. That is a ridiculous amount of money but just shows how badly I need to figure out how to make more money.

My biggest problem is my lack of ability to do long periods of focused work. So once again I’m starting on day 1 of this 180-day challenge. I can’t fail this challenge. I must do whatever it takes to meet it these goals and to implement the habits that are required.

Whatever mental and physical discomfort is required to grow, I’m willing to do it. I can’t go back to the old version of me. I must grow and I must grow quickly. I’ve got 180 days to turn this around. I could make this the most impactful 180 days of my life if I commit to the actions and commit to the fact that every day is going to be hard, but I just keep ticking them off.

The goals I have for this 180 days are:

  1. Have a net worth of $200k liquid by the end of this 180 days. This will solve all of my financial problems and set me up for a big year. I must do the work required to get me here.
  2. Physique – Get to under 85kg by the half marathon on 15th November (currently 93.9kg). Then after that, build to 90kg by the end of the 180 days without adding additional fat
  3. Business – add $10k per month of revenue to business revenue: Sep $20k, Oct $30k, Nov $40k, Dec $50k, Jan $60k, Feb $70k, Mar $80k
  4. Golf – get handicap down to under 3.0 and shoot first sub-par round (currently 10.4)
  5. Relationship – pour everything I have into my relationship and write at least 1x gratitude note per day for my partner.

In terms of specific habits that I need to implement:

  1. Net worth $200k
    1. >8 hours average work per day – maintain average higher than 8 hours
    1. 15 minutes daily on personal finances
    1. 15 minutes daily on business finances
  2. Physique
    1. From now until half marathon, calorie deficit of 8,000 per week
    1. Protein intake above 200g per day
  3. Business (same as (1) for now)
    1. 1 LinkedIn post per day
    1. Less than 5 emails in inbox at the end of each day
  4. Golf
    1. 3 hours practice per week
  5. Relationship
    1. 1x gratitude note per day
  6. Mindset
    1. AM Reflection – what the plan is
    1. PM Reflection – reflect on the day and changes needed
    1. Under 2 hours screentime per day
    1. >4.5L of water
    1. 30 minutes meditation per day

I am under no illusions this will be difficult, but I cannot afford to fail again.

A lot of the other goals will come off the back of my 8 hours per day goals because I’ll eat less, have time for finances, do LinkedIn, clear my emails, drink water while working, won’t be on my phone, and reflections and meditation are going to be counted as work time for these purposes.

So the main goal is to be able to do the focused work every single day without distractions. It is going to be extremely difficult and my mind is going to go through long periods of discomfort but it’s required in order to change.
