It is 3.51pm and nearing the end of the day on Friday. This is often the time of the week when I release some of the pressure that I have on my work ethic, and start to find pleasure through food, alcohol, podcasts etc. But this isn’t the season I’m in. I’m not in a season of balance or enjoying life, I’m in the season of changing the trajectory of my life forever.
As I head into the weekend, I need to remember the commitment I made myself at the start of the week – no alcohol, sugary junk food, news or sport, or gambling until I have $1m liquid in my bank account.
I know this is possible and I know I can make it happen. I need to be unreasonable about where my focus and energy goes in order to produce unreasonable results. People will not understand but they also do not understand the position in life I am coming from.
I have got myself very far behind financially, and only a season of intentional focused hard work will help me fix this. The world is so big and there is so much money and opportunity out there waiting for us to go get. In order to access this I need to put my head down and work very hard for a long period of time but I’m willing to do that.
I have some loose plans this weekend but I will remain committed to getting to my 56 productive hour goal. I will find pockets of time and use them to work on building my company. I have so much I can do from client work, to marketing, to upskilling my team, then upskilling myself.
We live in the greatest time ever with technology available to us and how it can help solve problems and create wealth. I want to help my family with money and break the negative cycles that keep repeating themselves.
I want to go all in and that means removing the distractions from my life. I am willing to pay whatever price presents itself to me. I will maximise this weekend and by the time Monday rolls around my business will look different than it did today because of the work I spent on the infrastructure of the business and the effort I put into it over the weekend.
I will not squander this weekend and instead I will use it to move even further ahead with my business and fitness goals.
