Yesterday was a good day and I managed to complete 9.15 productive hours which is a great result. I didn’t quite get to the 11.5 hours planned because I spent some time with my partner at night, but I’m proud of the effort I put in.
There were hard times yesterday morning, probably the second hour in, and then I seemed to get through the rest of the morning okay. In the afternoon, the second hour was brutal but afterwards I got a second wind and managed to push through.
Now I am getting a feel for my energy over the work day and I know what to expect, it makes it easier to execute in the moment and stick with it. I know that pain will only ever be temporary and it will always be replaced with progress if we stick it out.
33 days into this 180 day challenge to get to a $1m liquid net worth and I feel like a good base is set. Now I need to capitalise on this and put my foot down even more. Getting the 56 hours of inputs completed each week is a good start, and I’ll see where this can get me if I can hit it consistently.
What has made my week easier is removing news/sport from my life and just being locked in on my goals. News and sport was just a distraction for me so removing them has made my mind more focused on my sport goals. I’ve also removed alcohol, gambling and sugary junk food as they act as a distraction. Alcohol and sugary food act against my fitness goals and then I end up spending more time on exercise which just costs time.
Today is going to be extremely difficult. To hit my 14.5 productive hours goal, I was going to need to get up at 2.30am but I didn’t start until 3am. Regardless I have completed 23.60 productive hours in the first four days of the week, and have 32.40 left to hit in the last three days.
If I can get 13 or 14 hours out of today then it makes the goal of hitting this achievable. But it’s going to need to be head down, focused, and continue to remove distractions that might pop up.
Also, now that the weekend is upon us, I need to continue to make good decisions that algin with my goals. I’ve only completed 4/7th of the week and even though I’ve had 3 good days, 3/7 is not enough to build a good life on. Therefore I need to put the foot down and push these goals forward even more.
